Om Namo Narayana

Reverberating in the entire Universe is the primordial sound of ‘OM’, that means Atma belongs only to Lakshmi Narayan, Shiva Shakti and its Oneness. In our Vedas, OM sign is generally translated as AUM where A stands for Narayan, U stands for Maha Lakshmi and M means Mine.

Brahma(rajas), Vishnu(sattvas) and Shiva(tamas) are all the beautiful combination of the AUM that has a strong control on our emotions, karma, body, desires and it all belongs to God.

Call it Namoh or Namaha, both are correct with Namaha as its root where the word “Na” means ‘not’ and “Mo” stands for ‘mine’. So when one says Namaha, it literally means ‘to bow’, ‘salute’ and ‘honor’.

Name of the Lord Vishnu is “Naryana” who is the Preserver or Guru of the Universe. Basically, Nara means human, Atma and imperishable denoting the Divinity. Ayan has different meanings like, the journey, resting in place and the goal of the journey.
