Vyasa was not only born on this day but he has also started writing Brahma Sutra on Ashadha Suddha Padyami which ends on this day. Veda Vyasa studied Vedic hymns and he divided the holy Vedas in four parts namely Rig, Yajur, Sama, and Atharva according to their usage in the sacrament, attributes, and teaching them to his four chief disciples that are Paila, Vaisampayana, Jaimini, and Sumantu.
