Lord Vishwakarma has not only built the world but he also constructed Dwaraka and Maya Sabha for Pandavas and he also created diverse ammunitions for all the Gods.

What to do on Kanya Sankranti

A devotee should wake up early in the morning and take a bath. Start the preparations of pooja by decorating photos and idols of Lord Vishwakarma. Worship Lord Vishwakarma and offer him fruits, and sweets. Place the instruments which you use in your work and worship those instruments and pray to them for better work. Distribute the Prashad to others.

Kanya Sankranti is considered as an auspicious day for Daan-Punya. This day is perfect for performing Shrad Puja for ancestors and penance with proper rituals. Taking a bath in holy rivers, ponds, etc on this auspicious day bestows significant results to the performers.
