Mahalakshmi, the giver of immense wealth and luxury is one of the highly revered deities in Hindu culture. Goddess Lakshmi is the consort of Sri Narayana who is the protector of the whole universe and is one among the trinities besides Lord Shiva and Lord Brahma.

Goddess Mahalakshmi is portrayed as a deity wearing red clothes and gold ornaments. She is seated on a bloomed lotus and her four arms are the representation of the four most important human goals which are Dharma, artha, kama and moksha.
