Wake up early in the morning and take an Abhyanga Snan on this auspicious day. Clean your house and decorate it well with mango leaves, banana leaves, and marigold flowers. Adore the entrance of your home with beautiful rangoli which is recognized as the most auspicious part of Diwali. Start preparing for Lakshmi puja by placing idols of Goddess Lakshmi, Goddess Saraswati, and Lord Ganesha on a piece of red cloth.

Put 3 heaps of raw rice in front of idols of gods and offer sweets, fruits, and dhoop. Light the earthen lamps and worship Goddess Lakshmi, Goddess Saraswati, Lord Ganesha for a blissful life, and well being of your family. Perform Lakshmi Aarati to gain significant results. Lord Vishnu, Lord Kubera, and Lord Indra are also worshipped on this auspicious day.
