Astrology helps you know the rashi of your new born

A family is incomplete without babies. Babies will always bring happiness and joy into the lives of the family members. Not only the parents but also other family members are always very excited to know about the child’s future.

Astrology helps one in knowing about the new born’s Rashi and other aspects of life such as health, education, and personality. In order to get accurate information, parents should know the exact time and date of birth of the child. Astrologers find out the rashi of the child based on the position of the moon during the child’s birth.

So, let us see what exactly is meant by the word Rashi:

The term Rashi is nothing but the zodiac signs. These signs are formed by dividing the sky into twelve parts and each of these parts is further identified as a group of nakshatras or star constellations. These groups of nakshatras are called rashis. There are a total of twelve rashis and they are Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces.

These zodiac signs are further classified as Sun signs and Moon signs. Sun signs are those zodiacs where the Sun is present at a specific time and Moon signs are those where the moon is positioned at a given time. Astrologers in India prefer using the moon signs however both Sun and moon signs are considered while making the horoscope of the newborn baby.

The sun sign of the child can be understood by the position of the Sun. As we all know Sun takes around 12 months to visit all the 12 zodiac signs and it would remain in one zodiac for a period of one month. So, the month the baby is born decides its sun sign. However, it is a tedious job to find out the moon sign of the baby as the moon completes one zodiac cycle in a month which means Moon remains in one zodiac for a period of two and a half days. So, to find the accurate moon sign one must visit learned astrologers.
