In the 'Navratri', which lasts for nine days, the date of Navami is called 'Maha Navami'. On this day, Maa Siddhidatri, the ninth form of Goddess Durga is specially worshiped. Mata Siddhidatri is worshiped on the day of Navami. Maa Durga in her ninth form is known as Siddhidatri. Maa Siddhidatri is the ninth form of Adi Shakti Bhagwati who has four arms. Maa Siddhidatri’s Asana is a lotus. There is a chakra in the right hand and a Gada in the upper hand. There is a Shankh in the lower hand from the left side and a lotus flower in the upper hand. Mother Siddhidatri is revered for both Sur and Asura. The mother fulfills all desires and demands as the mother's name suggests. It is believed that if this form of Goddess becomes pleasing to the devotees, then she gets 26 boons. On the Nanda Mountains of the Himalayas, there is the holy pilgrimage place of Siddhidatri.
