Devotional songs are sung and the Homam concludes with performing aarti to Gaja Lakshmi.

It is advised to the performers of the Homam to donate holy materials like turmeric, kumkum, bangles, a piece of cloth, beetle nut, beetle leaves, and coconut to married women as they are a form of Lakshmi.

Goddess Gaja Lakshmi is portrayed in the religious texts as a deity dressed up in red garments with four arms and is seated on a fully bloomed lotus. One can see lotus flowers being held in her upper arms and in the two lower arms; one has Varada mudra and the other has Abhaya mudra. Also, one can see elephants on either side of the deity. These elephants are a symbol of magnificence and radiance.
