Important Facts

Regarded as the eighth among the 32 different forms of Ganapati, Ucchista Ganapati in Sanskrit means the Lord of blessed offering and superiority. The word “Ucchista” means the leftovers or the remains, but here it carries a Tantric connotation, where the Lord Ganesha blesses his devotees with all the knowledge, wisdom and happiness.

To describe Lord Ucchista Ganapati, he is blue in complexion and is depicted in a sitting posture with his consort Goddess Shakti Devi on His left lap. This six-armed deity holds the Japa mala of Rudraksha in his main right hand. The second-hand carry pomegranate fruit, the third-hand holds the Veena instrument, while the third upper hand carries the beautiful Lotus.

Gently embracing his consort with his main left hand, the end of his trunk rests on the thigh of the Goddess. Hence, this fire lab ritual that largely benefits the children increases the ability to boost the concentration & learning abilities in an effective manner.
