This is the most sacred Gayatri mantra for Goddess Indrani chanted to gain something either materialistic or a peaceful mind thereby destroying jealousy. Reciting this mantra is basically helps in accumulating wealth & enjoy all the pleasures of life.

Here, the word Vajra in Sanskrit means “Thunderbolt” or “Diamond” which is referred to a ritual weapon that is strong like a diamond and irresistible like a thunderbolt.

Seated on her Vahana Elephant, Goddess Indrani is of red color in complexion and seen wearing pretty saree, ornaments and the crown. Regarded as the Goddess of Jealousy, Indrani was an object of heartburn & jealously for many and is a mother to many children like Jayanta, Jayanthi, Midhusa, Nilambara, etc.

Though she never attains the same high esteem like the other Gods & Goddess with not many temples dedicated to her as well, she is worshiped for her beauty & purity in Southern parts of India.
