Chandi Path is the holy text of the Hindu religion which is also known as Durga Saptashati and it describes the divine mother Durga and her victory over demon Mahishasura.

The sacred recitation of Chandi Paath is done at the Kamakhya Kshetra to offer a divine prayer to mother Durga. There are a total of 700 Saptashati in this text which are arranged in 13 chapters. In the first chapter, Devi is described as Mahakali while Goddess Mahalakshmi is described in the second to fourth chapters and the Goddess Mahasaraswati and her various forms are described in fifth to thirteen chapters.
