Bhairav, also called Kaal Bhairav, and is one of the forms of Lord Shiva. It is believed that Lord Shiva created him from his nail. It is very easy to please Lord Kaal Bahirav and get his blessings to prosper in terms of wealth and have good health.

To please the Lord Kaal Bhairav, Mustard Oil, Sindoor, Coconut, Flowers, black sesame etc are offered. It is said that Lord Kaal Bhairav takes care of the Shakti Peeths or the sacred spots where the divine energy of the Mother Form is present.

Chanting the Bhairav Mantra 1.25 lakh times blesses the devotees with good health & wealth.

Procedure for performing this puja:

Step 1-Swastivachan----The Puja commences with a Mangaal Gaan or Mantras are recited to praise Bhagwan Shiva.

Step 2-Pooranik Manglacharan----All major Gods are worshipped here.

Step 3-Sankalp------It explains on whose behalf this Yagna is being done and also the purpose of Yagna.

Step 4-Ganesh Pujan-----Ganesh ji is regarded as the remover of obstacles and hence is invited to the Yagna.

Step 5-Kalash Pujan--------It’s the major part of every Yagna.

Step 6--Shodash Matrika Pujan-----Shodash means sixteen. Sixteen Devis are invited to the Yagna as they have an important place in the Yagna.

Step 7: Puniha Aavchan -----Prayer is done for the person on whose behalf the Yagna is being conducted. The person is called as Jajmaan.

Step 8: Navgraha Pujan----All the nine planets are invited to be part of Yagna and shower the blessings on the Jajmaan.

Step 9: Ksherpaal Pujan----There are 10 Directions according to Hindu mythology and so Puja is performed for the heads of each direction so that Yagna is not disturbed from any direction.

Step 10: Maa Kali Pujan---- Lord Bhairav is invited to be a part of the Yagna.

Step 11: Yagna starts----Bhiarav Paath is chanted for 1.25 lakh times and the puja starts from here.

Step 12: Havan----At the later part of the Yagna, Havan is performed with same Mantras.

Step 13: Aarti----Aarti is performed to the Lord.

Step 14: Tarpan and Margan----These are part of the Yagna.

Step 15: Brahmin Bhoj----Brahmins are shown respect on behalf of jajmaan. Food is served to the brahmins who participated in the Yagna and Dakshina is given to them for their efforts and time.

Step 16: Prasada would be sent to you. This Prasad will consist of a Yantra that would be made especially for You. You will have to keep it in puja room of your house and worship it for better results.
